PEWAUKEE, Wis. – The Carroll University women's golf team wrapped up their longest tournament of the season Saturday, finishing in eighth place at the 2022 CCIW Women's Golf Conference Championship. The Pios scored their season best round of 373 on Saturday, to finish the tournament with a score of 1,135.
Caroline Kroeninger led the charge for Carroll over the weekend with a team low 274. On Saturday, Kroeninger finished with a 93. An up and down score card on the back nine included two birdies to finish out the round and the weekend. The senior finished 32
nd overall.
Shaelynn Feuerstein and
Ashlyn Burdick tied with two 89's on Saturday. Feuerstein finished second on the team and 33
rd overall with a 278, and Burdick was just behind with a 279 overall to finish 34
th. Burdick finished +9 on the front and +8 on the back, and the score was vice versa for Feuerstein. Feuerstein set her new season low with the Saturday score.
Ashley Lubkeman was the fourth scorer for the Pioneers on Saturday, finishing with her lowest round of the season at 102.
Isabella Massa approved on the final day for her lowest round of the year with a 111, and
Gabrielle Kleist finished the Pio scoring with a 120.
The Pioneers will return for more matches in the spring of 2023.
