Over 100 Student-Athletes Named Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin announced their 2021 Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference List for Fall sports. Carroll University has 103 student-athletes named to the fall academic all-conference list. Sophomore Kenzie Blau of women's soccer and sophomore Austin Eichstaedt of football were also named Fall 2021 CCIW Jack Swartz Award Winners.
 
Blau, a sophomore defender, serves on the three-member CCIW Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Executive Board, and took part in the NCAA's Student-Athlete Leadership Forum in November. Blau scored one goal and tallied two assists in her 18 games played this 2021 season. Eichstaedt, a sophomore wide receiver, was selected to the D3football.com All-Region team, was named a first-team all-conference wide receiver, and led the CCIW with 1,075 yards on 72 catches.
 
Over 800 student-athletes were recognized as academic all-conference this fall. The Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference list comprises those individuals that achieved an overall grade-point average of 3.30 or above and have served at least one year in residency at their respective school. 
 
Additionally, the CCIW announced all of the recipients of the Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award. Each CCIW member institution selects two student-athletes (one men's athlete & one women's athlete) from each of the three sport seasons (fall, winter, spring) to be honored as Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference members. To be eligible, an individual must have an overall grade point average of 3.50 or above and have served at least one year in residency at their respective institution.

Football - 21
Women's Golf - 7
Men's Soccer - 15

Women's Tennis - 7
