Carroll University senior tight end Reed Breckheimer has added yet another accolade in his Pioneer football history career, earning a spot on the 2025 D3football.com First Team All-America roster. The Hilbert, Wis., native was recognized as the nation's top Division III tight end after a season that showcased his versatility and impact in all phases of the game.
Breckheimer's senior campaign was a masterclass in multi-dimensional play. He led Carroll with 46 receptions for 488 yards and a touchdown, but his contributions didn't stop there. Out of the backfield, Breckheimer rushed 49 times for 308 yards and nine touchdowns, and even completed three passes for 38 yards, directly accounting for 60 points. His ability to create mismatches and deliver in clutch moments made him a focal point of the Pioneer offense.
This D3football.com honor adds to Breckheimer's growing list of accolades, including Division III AP First Team All-American, AFCA Division III Coaches' All-America First Team, D3football.com All-Region 5 First Team, and First-Team All-CCIW. While Carroll has celebrated All-Americans from various organizations over the years, Breckheimer becomes the first Pioneer ever named to the D3football.com First Team as well, a testament to his unique skill set and relentless work ethic.
