The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its annual Academic All-District Team for Football today, with Carroll earning eight Academic All-District honors. The Pioneers saw Luke Brosig, Tristan Caudill, Brendan Raciak, Evan Griffiths, Max Katsenos, Aaron Appiah-Kubi, Jack Madigan, and Anthony Martorano each receive the distinction. Each honoree combined impactful play for the Pios with outstanding academic achievement.
Luke Brosig (Sports Administration), a senior defensive end from De Pere, Wisconsin, capped an impressive senior season with a D3Football Team of the Week honor after the Pioneers win at Illinois Wesleyan. He also finished the season with 32 total tackles, 9 TFL, and 4 sacks, helping anchor the defensive line and earning his first Academic All-District Honor.
Tristan Caudill (Biology - Pre-med), a senior tight end from Broomfield, Colorado, earned his second Academic All-District honor. The senior was a key contributor on special teams throughout the season.
Brendan Raciak (Business Administration), a sophomore offensive lineman from Wauconda, Illinois, earned his first Academic All-District honor after starting every game for the Pioneers.
Evan Griffiths (Health Care Administration), a junior linebacker from McHenry, Illinois, earned his first Academic All-District honor. Griffiths led the team in total tackles with 80, and also added 7 TFL and 2 sacks on the season.
Max Katsenos (Exercise Science - Physical Therapy), a senior offensive lineman from Cary, Illinois, is honored for the third time after an extremely successful season which saw him earn D3Football.com Second Team All-Region as the catalyst of the offensive line.
Aaron Appiah-Kubi (Computer Science), a sophomore wide receiver from Chicago, Illinois, makes his first Academic All-District appearance. Appiah-Kubi contributed 14 catches for 166 yards on the season, helping pace the Pioneers air attack.
Jack Madigan (Mathematics), a junior linebacker from Middleton, WI, earns his first Academic All-District honor. Madigan finished the season with 10 tackles and 2 TFL.
Anthony Martorano (Exercise Science), a sophomore running back from Vernon Hills, Illinois, makes his first career Academic All-District appearance. Martorano added 10 carries for 11 yards and 2 catches for 10 yards on the season, while also being a special teams contributor.
The 2025–26 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
