WAUKESHA, Wis. -- The Carroll University women's bowling team finished its first CCIW Conference Competition 3-0 and 6-2 overall after day two. The Pioneers finished the tournament with the third best record. 

Carroll started the morning with a 925-646 wallop of Lakeland University, and followed it up with a tight 918-902 victory over Augustana. After a bye, the Pioneers defeated North Central 950-758 to finish the weekend. 

The Pioneers will get together with the rest of the conference again next month, in the second CCIW Competition. The second competition will be a single round-robin with traditional scoring. After combining the two compeititon records, the top team will be named the CCIW Regular Season Champions.
