Clara Jelacic of Carroll University women's lacrosse has been selected to the IWLCA Great Lakes All-Region list for the second consecutive season. Jelacic earns the honor as a second-team member.
Jelacic, a midfielder from Waukesha, Wisconsin was named the 2022 CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year on top of being a first-team all-conference selection. Jelacic led the team, conference, region, and nation in caused turnovers per game this season with 4.62, equating to a career-high 74 over 16 games. Jelacic finished with the third most ground balls per game in the NCAA with 5.88 and finished with the 17
th most draw controls per game with 7.38. Jelacic finished second on the team in points with 67 points on 52 goals and 15 assists. Jelacic has cracked the top-25 all-time in Division III history in ground balls, ground balls per game, draw controls, draw controls per game, and caused turnovers per game in a career.
