NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Graduate student Clara Jelacic of Carroll University women's lacrosse has been selected to the IWLCA Great Lakes All-Region list for the second consecutive season. Jelacic earns the honor as a second-team member.
 
Jelacic, a midfielder from Waukesha, Wisconsin was named the 2022 CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year on top of being a first-team all-conference selection. Jelacic led the team, conference, region, and nation in caused turnovers per game this season with 4.62, equating to a career-high 74 over 16 games. Jelacic finished with the third most ground balls per game in the NCAA with 5.88 and finished with the 17^th most draw controls per game with 7.38. Jelacic finished second on the team in points with 67 points on 52 goals and 15 assists. Jelacic has cracked the top-25 all-time in Division III history in ground balls, ground balls per game, draw controls, draw controls per game, and caused turnovers per game in a career.
