Tumilty and Wang Nab More Recognition, Named to IWLCA All-Region Team

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Continuing a historic season for Carroll University women's lacrosse, standouts Grace Tumilty and Elizabeth Wang have earned recognition on the 2026 IWLCA All-Great Lakes Region teams, with Tumilty landing First Team honors and Wang earning a spot on the Second Team.

Tumilty, a graduate defender, delivered one of the most dominant seasons in program history while anchoring Carroll's nationally recognized defense. A CCIW Co-Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year, she led the team with 83 ground balls and added an impressive 68 caused turnovers, consistently disrupting opposing offenses and fueling Carroll's transition game. Her impact extended across the entire season, as she controlled possession, set the tone defensively, and played a key role in holding opponents to just 6.3 goals per game. Her standout year has now been recognized at every level, as Tumilty adds IWLCA First Team All-Region honors to an already decorated resume that includes two CCIW Player of the Week selections and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention recognition.

On the offensive end, Wang, a junior attacker, continued to cement herself as one of the premier attackers in the region. The CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year led Carroll with 56 goals and 26 assists for 82 total points, consistently producing in key moments throughout the Pioneers' 14–2 campaign. Her combination of scoring ability and vision fueled one of the conference's most explosive offenses, which averaged 15.1 goals per game. A two-time CCIW Offensive Player of the Week, Wang earns IWLCA Second Team All-Region honors after another dominant season, adding to her growing list of accolades that also includes USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention recognition.

Together, Tumilty and Wang played pivotal roles in one of the most successful seasons in program history. The Pioneers went a perfect 5–0 in CCIW play to secure back-to-back regular season championships, a sign of more to come for Carroll Women's Lacrosse.
