WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Carroll University women's lacrosse team has once again been recognized for its excellence in the classroom, earning designation as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the 2025-26 academic year. The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association recognized 357 programs across NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA that posted a team GPA of 3.2 or higher during the academic year.
In addition to the team honor, seven Pioneers were named to the 2026 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll, recognizing student-athletes who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the classroom.
The individual honorees for Carroll University are:
- Lauren Fricke, Junior, Exercise Science
- Samantha Hurd, Senior, Sports Administration
- Emma Kimps, Senior, Exercise Science
- Sierra Langkamp, Junior, Exercise Science
- Teah Rupp, Senior, Physical and Health Education
- Sierra Skack, Senior, Mathematics
- Grace Tumilty, Graduate Student, Physical Therapy
The recognition highlights the commitment Carroll women's lacrosse student-athletes have made to excellence both on the field and in the classroom. Balancing the demands of collegiate athletics with rigorous academic programs, the seven honorees represent a wide range of disciplines while exemplifying the values of dedication, discipline, and leadership.
Carroll was one of the NCAA Division III institutions recognized as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, joining programs from across the country that achieved a team GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. Carroll University was listed among the Division III Academic Honor Squad recipients announced by the IWLCA.
The Academic Honor Squad and Academic Honor Roll distinctions continue to showcase the strength of Carroll's commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes who excel in competition and in the classroom, reinforcing the program's tradition of academic success.
