WAUKESHA, Wis. – Carroll University junior attacker Elizabeth Wang was named the CCIW Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season following a dominant performance in a championship-clinching week for the Pioneer women's lacrosse team.
Wang, a native of Wildomar, California, served as the catalyst for Carroll as the Pioneers secured back-to-back CCIW regular season titles with a pair of conference road victories. She opened the week with a standout outing at North Central, scoring six goals and adding two assists for eight points in a commanding 22–2 win. Wang's offensive efficiency and production set the tone early as Carroll controlled play from start to finish.
She followed that performance with another key contribution in the title-deciding matchup at Carthage. Wang recorded three goals in Carroll's 8–6 victory over the Firebirds, a win that officially locked up the conference crown and capped an unbeaten conference run for the Pioneers.
Across the two games, Wang totaled nine goals and two assists for 11 points, consistently delivering in high-pressure moments during a critical stretch of the conference schedule. Her offensive output played a central role in Carroll's ability to close out the regular season championship and continue its strong play against conference opponents.
The honor marks Wang's second CCIW Offensive Player of the Week award this season, further underscoring her impact as one of the league's top offensive threats and a driving force behind Carroll's championship success.
