NAPERVILLE, Ill. –
Clara Jelacic,
Katrina Hardin, and
Ariana Cullam of Carroll University women's lacrosse have been selected to the 2022 CCIW Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Team. Jelacic, a four-time first-team selection at midfielder, was also named 2022 CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year. Hardin was selected as a first-team attacker, while Cullam made the second team as a defender.
Jelacic, a graduate student from Waukesha, Wisconsin, finished top two in the CCIW in every non-goalie defensive statistic, including first in ground balls/game, first in caused turnovers per game, and second in draw controls per game. Jelacic paces the nation in caused turnovers per game with 4.73 and sits third in Division III with 5.80 ground balls per game. Jelacic also finished top ten in the CCIW in goals per game, points per game, and shots game. This is Jelacic's fourth all-conference selection.
Hardin, a junior from Dousman, Wisconsin, led the Pioneers on offense this season with 57 goals and 71 points. Hardin finished top five in goals per game, points per game, and shots per game this season in the CCIW. During conference games, Hardin's 8.67 shots per game paced the league, while finishing second in goals per game with 3.50. Hardin scored at least five goals six times in 15 games this season. This is Hardin's second all-conference selection.
Cullam, a sophomore from Madison, Connecticut, finished top-five in the CCIW in ground balls per game and caused turnovers per game through 15 contests. In the six CCIW games, Cullam finished third in both ground balls per game with 3.67 and caused turnovers per game with 2.17. On the team, Cullam finished second in caused turnovers and second in ground balls, while anchoring a defense that allowed just 9.8 goals per game. This is her first all-conference selection.
