WEST DUNDEE, Ill. – The Carroll University men's golf team appeared in another two-day, 36-hole tournament this weekend. Carroll ended Saturday in 15
th place at the Carthage Fall Invite with a score of 633 after a 316 in round one and a 317 in round two.
Evan Bridges finished inside the top 30 with a tied for 28
th place finish. Bridges started the weekend with a round of 73 and finished it off with a 76 for a 149 overall. Bridges went without a birdie but had two instances of error-free nine holes of golf.
Devin Wilde Finished the Tournament with a score of 158 after an 81 on day one and a 77 on day two. Wilde's Saturday round had a much nicer start, as the senior finished only +1 through his first nine.
TJ Walton came in third for the group and tied for 68
th overall with a 159. Walton recorded three birdies over the weekend.
Newcomers
Caden Combs and
Max Bogenski wrapped up scoring for the Pioneers. Combs shot a 167 through two rounds with scores of 82 and 85, while Boegenski went 91-90 to finish the event with a 181.
The Pioneers head to the Frank Wigglesworth Invite in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for another two-round tournament on Sunday, September 18.
