FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The Carroll University women's golf team took part in another two-day golf tournament this weekend. Carroll finished up in seventh place with a 36-hole score of 828.
 
Ashlyn Burdick finished in third place with a score of 177 after an opening round of 92 followed by a day two round of 85. Burdick missed just two fairways on day two, leading to the lowest round of the day by any golfer in the tournament.
 
Shaelynn Feuerstein started the tournament with a day one score of 91 and followed it up with a day two round of 98 for a combined 188 and 18^th place. Feuerstein holed three birdies in the second round. Caroline Kroeninger finished one spot behind Feuerstein shooting two rounds of 95 for a score of 190 and 19^th place. On day one, Kroeninger's driver was working well for the senior.
 
Isabella Massa finished both days with a final score of 272. Morgan Kennedy and Rose O'Shea did not score due to withdrawals from the tournament on day one.
 
Carroll hosts the CCIW Preview Meet on September 20 at Nagawaukee War Memorial Golf Course. The Pios will get a look at the course where the 2022 CCIW Women's Golf Championship will be held.
