EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Carroll University men's golf team finished in 15
th place after a difficult, two-day Frank Wigglesworth Invite hosted by Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Carroll shot a combined two round score of 681, after a 39 on day one followed by a 332 on day two.
Evan Bridges and
TJ Walton both tied for the team low score of 166 through two rounds. Bridges shot an 82 on day one followed by an 84 on day two. Walton, finished vice versa, with an 84 after the first 18 and an 82 after the second. Bridges played his best golf on the front nine of the par-71 course, while Walton finished with three nine-hole scores of 41.
Devin Wilde finished third on the team with a 170. After a tough opening round of 90, Wilde responded with a score of 80, the low round of the weekend for the men's team. Wilde's front nine 38 on day two set the tone for his +9 day.
Cameron Zeinert finished fourth in the group with a 179 after rounds of 93 and 86, and
Caden Combs started the tournament with a 98, but finished strong and dropped his score to 89 to round out the Pioneer scoring.
