KANSASVILLE, Wis. – The Carroll University men's golf team wrapped up another two-day weekend tournament on Monday afternoon. Carroll finished in 15
th place at the annual Midwest Fall Classic with a combined score of 639, the second lowest 36-hole round this year. The Pioneers shot a 311 on day one and followed it up with a 328 on day two.
Evan Bridges finished just outside the top 20, after an even round of 72 on Sunday, Bridges cooled off with a score of 80 on Monday. Bridges finished -1 on the back nine on day one, but +8 over on the back nine on day two.
TJ Walton shot consistent, scoring an 80 on day one and finishing with a 79 on day two for a combined 159, his best tournament of the season. Walton drilled five birdies through 36 holes.
Devin Wilde finished up third on the team with a combined score of 161. Wilde broke 80 on day one with a 76 for his lowest round of the season, after holing four birdies. A rough start on day two set the senior back to finish with an 85 on the final 18 holes.
Max Bogenski finished fourth on the team scoring a 171 after a round of 87 on Sunday and an 84 on Monday, his lowest 18-hole round this season.
Caden Combs rounded out the Pioneers' scoring with a 172. Combs shot an 83 on Sunday and finished the tournament with an 89 on Monday.
Carroll has one more fall invite before they hibernate for the winter months. The Pioneers will travel to Lake Geneva on Sunday, October 2 for the UW-Stout Fall Invite.
