BRISTOL, Wis. – The Carroll University women's golf team began their 2022 campaign with a 36-hole, two day, Carthage Battle on the Border tournament. The Pioneers finished in 13^th place with a combined score of 767. The Pios shot a 385 on day one and recorded a 382 on day too.
 
Ashlyn Burdick led the team with the lowest 36-hole score of 171. Burdick led the team with an 84 on day one of the tournament, and followed that up with an 87. Burdick finished tied for 24^th in the player leader board.
 
Caroline Kroeninger tied for 41^st and recovered from a rough first day. After a 93 on day one, Kroeninger cut off eight strokes and led the team on day two with a round of 85 for a combined score of 178.
 
Shaelynn Feuerstein finished third on the team with a 193 after a 96 on day one and 97 on day two. Morgan Kennedy scored a 225 with a 112 and 113 after two days, and Isabella Massa wrapped up the team with a 36-hole score of 241.
 
The Pios will head North to Fond Du Lac next week Friday and Saturday for the Marian Fall Invitational at Rolling Meadows.
