West Dundee, Ill. – The Carroll University women's golf team headed down to Randall Oaks Golf Club to compete in the Judson Spring Invite today. The Pioneers finished in 6
th place with a score of 393.
Ashlyn Burdick led the way for the Pioneers as she tied for 11
th place. Burdick scored a team low of 89, the senior finished with six pars and going just eight above par on the back nine.
Marisa Boehler finished second in the group and finished T-29 with a 100. Boehler had one birdie and seven bogies on the day.
Caroline Kroeninger followed up with just one more stroke shooting a 101. This would get Kroeninger a 33
rd place finish. She was able finish with eight bogies and one par on the day.
Shaelynn Feuerstein finished two strokes behind Kroeninger with a 103 and finished in T-34
th. Feuerstein started the day with five bogies and a par on the front nine. She was able to get three more bogies on the back nine.
Isabella Massa went in as the no. 5 golfer for the Pioneers and finished 56
th with a 134.
The Pioneers will be back in action on Saturday April 15, at the Forester Spring Invite in Lake Forest, Ill.
