Kohler, Wis. – The Carroll University men's golf team made played in their annual Hatchet Match against St. Norbert College at Blackwolf Run Golf Course. The Pioneers dropped the match 1.5 – 4.5.

In the first match of the day Devin Wilde couldn't over St. Norbert's Kasey Casper dropping the Pioneers down 0-1. In the second match of the day TJ Walton showed up for the Pios and got Carroll's only win on the day. Giving the Pioneers hope as they were tied 1-1.

Unfortunately, Carroll's Eli Allison, Kaleb Ward, and Drew Esveldt would drop three straight pairings and find themselves down 1-4. Leaving just Evan Bridges left. The senior would go on to tie his pairing and finish the day off with Carroll losing 1.5 – 4.5.

The Pioneers compete in the Bryant & Stratton Legends Classic on April 27-28 at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms.
