Janesville, Wis. – The Carroll University women's golf team competed in the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling this past weekend. The Pioneers were sitting in 12th place with a score of 450. However, heading into the second day of competition Carroll would only have three available golfers for the second day forcing the team out of qualification and finishing the tournament.
Marisa Boehler came into the day as the number four golfer for the Pioneers. She led the way for the Pioneers scoring a team low 94 on the first day of competition. She would finish with five pars and six bogies on the day.
Carroll's number two
Caroline Kroeninger finished second in the group with a score of 97. Kroeninger finished with three pars and seven birdies after the first round.
Shaelynn Feuerstein was the number three golfer. She shot a 105 on the day. She was able to finish with one par and five bogies on the day.
Rose O'Shea went in as the no. five golfer for the Pioneers and finished with a 154.
