FINAL RESULTS
METAMORA, Ill. - After Saturday's thrid and final round at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships, Carroll's women's golf team finished sixth out of eight teams. The Pioneers shot a three-day team total of 1032 (+180). After shooting a +50 during Thursday's first round, Carroll shot a +61 on Friday, followed by a final round score of +69.
Lauren Lostetter, who was selected as Carroll's representative for the CCIW's RESPECT award, led the Pioneers with a three-round total of +34, which was 17th among all individuals. She waited until the final day to produce her best score of the weekend (+10).
Tessa Lawson added a 28th-place finish (+47) after starting the tournament with a first round score of +10.
Leah Ribordy was third on the team with a +48, which was 29th overall, while
Maddie O'Brien and
Lynea Sekany rounded out the team score with a +51 and +75, respectively.
Illinois Wesleyan won the tournament with a team score of +47, followed by Elmhurst, North Central, Augustana, and Carthage. Millikin and North Park finished in seventh and eighth, respectively, behind the Pioneers.
