WAUKESHA, Wis. - Men's Basketball's Eckahelo Simpson and Women's Basketball's Olivia Rangel have been named Carroll's 'Pios of the Week' for the week ending November 10, 2024.

A senior from Spokane, Wash., Simpson led Carroll to a 90-69 victory at Lakeland in Friday's season-opener. He didn't miss a shot from the field all night, going 10-for-10, which included a pair of 3-pointers. Simpson finished the night with game-highs of 24 points and eight rebounds, while also recording three assists and two steals.

Rangel led the 21st-ranked Pioneers to a 74-60 win Friday night at MSOE to open the 2024-25 season. The senior from Franklin, Wis. scored a game-high 23 points on 10-of-19 shooting, while also recording team-highs of seven rebounds and four steals, and adding two assists. With her scoring output, Rangel moved into seventh place in program history for career points (1,171).
