RACINE, Wis. - The Carroll University men's golf team finished third in the 12-team Firebird Spring Invitational at Meadowbrook Country Club on Monday.
Evan Bridges fired a 4-over par 75 to earn co-medalist honors for Carroll, which totaled a 320 on the par 71, 6,417-yard course.
Viggo Olsson shot a 5-over par 76 to finish fifth and
Garrett Stokelbusch carded an 8-over par 79 to tie for eighth for the Pioneers.
TJ Walton tied for 20th with an 82,
Mathias Werring had an 87 to tie for 38th and
Drew Esveldt tied for 46th with a 91.
Carroll is scheduled to compete at the Joliet Junior College Spring Invitational at Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris, Ill. on Tuesday.
