NORMAL, Ill. - The Carroll University men's golf team took to the course for the first time in 2024, competing in the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational over the weekend.
The challenging two-day 37-team event was held at Weibring Golf Club and Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill.

Carroll tied for 30th in the team standings with a two-day, combined total of 648 (including a first-day 325 and final-day 323).
Evan Bridges was the top individual for the Pioneers, tying for 72nd place with 154, highlighted by Friday's opening-round 8-over par 79 and Saturday's final-round 3-over par 75.

Carroll is scheduled to compete in the Hatchet Match with St. Norbert College at Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Fond du Lac, Wis. on April 9.
