NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Carroll's women's tennis team was one of seven teams in the nine-team College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) to earn a spot on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Women's All-Academic Team recently. As part of the awards announcement, the Pioneers also received 10 individual ITA Women's Scholar-Athlete honors, which is the third-most of any CCIW team.

Rachel Winters. Carroll's 10 players were a part of 54 CCIW women's tennis players to be recognized with this honor.
A total of 167 Division-III teams were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction. Programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale) to earn a spot on the list. All varsity letterwinners are factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year. Nearly 1,300 Division III student-athletes received the distinction this season.
