RESULTS
BRISTOL, Wis. - Carroll's women's golf team entered Saturday's final round in 10th place at the season-opening Border Battle, hosted by Carthage College. With a +74 on Saturday, the Pioneers cut two strokes off their score (+76) from the first round to finish 10th out of 18 teams.
Maddie O'Brien had an outstanding second round, moving up 28 spots in the individual rankings to finish 37th overall. She shot a +23 on Friday, before turning it around with a team-best +8 on Saturday.
Lauren Lostetter gave their Pioneers their second-best finish with a two-day total of +35.
Tessa Lawson wasn't far behind, with a combined score of +38.
Lynea Sekany and
Leah Ribordy rounded out the Pios' team score with a +46 and +54, respectively.
Carroll will be in action again on Friday when they'll travel to West Dundee, Ill. to take part in the Judson Invitational at Randall Oaks Golf Club.
