FINAL RESULTS
KANSASVILLE, Wis. - Carroll's women's golf team competed at the annual Midwest Region Classic over the weekend, finishing in 22nd place out of the 33-team field. The Pioneers shot a two-day total of +130, which was seven strokes shy of the next-best score.
Leading the way for the Pios was
Lauren Lostetter, who finished 93rd overall, shooting a +12 on the first day of the meet, followed by a +18 on the second.
Lynea Sekany wasn't far behind, finishing in 100th place, just one stroke shy of Lostetter.
Tessa Lawson added a two-day total of +34, while
Maddie O'Brien and
Annika Wertheim rounded out Carroll's team score by shooting +36 and +55, respectively.
The Pios will have one final tune-up before the conference championships, as they will travel to Rockford, Ill. on Friday for the Rockford Invitational. That meet will begin at 1 p.m. at Aldeen Golf Course.
