DUNDEE, Ill. - Carroll's women's golf team had a great showing Friday afternoon, finishing second in the five-team field. The Pioneers shot a single round score of 153 (+82), which was 22 shy of Elmhurst's winning score, while finishing 20 strokes better than third place North Park.

Carroll also finished with three individuals among the top 15 performers, with only Elmhurst garnering more. Leading the way for the Pios was Maddie O'Brien, who finished fourth overall in the event with a score of 87 (+16). Lauren Lostetter added an 11th-place finish with a score of 92 (+21). Lydia Sekany and Tessa Lawson weren't far behind, finishing one and two strokes, respectively, behind Lostetter. Leah Ribordy rounded out the Pios' team score with a 28th-place finish.

Carroll will be in action again next weekend when they'll participate in the Wisconsin Lutheran Invite at Washington County G.C. in Hartford, Wis.
