Jonah Lotegeluaki of Men's Swimming and Diving, for his performance in the Pioneers win in a dual meet with Millikin on Saturday.
Men's – Jonah Lotegeluaki (Swimming & Diving)
Jonah Lotegeluaki delivered a dominant sprint performance in Carroll's dual meet win over Millikin, earning three victories and anchoring the Pioneers' success in the pool. He captured the 100 Free title with a blazing 50.28, the fastest individual swim of the meet, and then played a crucial role on both winning relays. Lotegeluaki anchored the 400 Medley Relay (3:55.59) and closed out the meet by swimming the final leg of the 400 Free Relay, where Carroll posted a winning time of 3:34.55. His combination of speed and clutch relay swims made him Carroll's top sprinter and a key contributor to the team's overall victory.
Women's – Miley Brooks (Bowling)
Miley Brooks powered Carroll women's bowling to a strong sixth-place finish at the Windy City Classic, one of the region's most competitive tournaments. Brooks rolled a 985 series over five games (197.0 avg), highlighted by a spectacular 269 game in her second outing, the highest single-game score for the Pioneers in the tournament and one of the top marks in the entire event. Her consistency anchored Carroll's 7–3 match record, including key wins over regional rivals, and helped the team post a total pinfall of 8,756. Brooks' performance not only led Carroll but also ranked her 8
th among individual bowlers in the tournament.
