Victorson Garners All-CCIW Recognition, Burns Awarded RESPECT Award

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -  The 2025 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) All-Conference awards were announced for men's basketball on Monday afternoon. Senior Guard Erik Victorson earned Second-Team distinction in the voting.

Victorson is making his first career appearance on the All-CCIW teams. The Oregon, Wis. native finished the regular season as a top-15 scorer in the conference, (13.9 points per game). He also leads the CCIW in both total 3-point makes and attempts, going 81-for-225 (36 percent) beyond the arc. His 225 attempts was the fourth-most attempts in all of Division III and Victorson's average of 3.2 3-pointers per game tied the CCIW-lead. Victorson's season shooting the basketball reached the Carroll record books, as his makes and attempts are both the second most in school history. Those numbers of 81 and 225 sit behind the school's top mark by only nine makes and one attempt. Victorson also grabbed 60 rebounds, tallied 39 assists, and shot 86 percent from the charity stripe.

Also a part of the All-Conference awards for each sport is the CCIW RESPECT Award winners, with each school receiving one honoree. This year's RESPECT Award recipient for Carroll's men's basketball team is senior guard Dominic Burns, who appeared in all 25 games this season, making one start. The Salt Lake City, Utah native is averaging 2.8 points, 1.0 rebounds, and shot over 37 percent from the field. Burns will graduate in May with a double major in Psychology and Sports Administration.
