HARTFORD, Wis. - Carroll's women's golf team participated in the Wisconsin Lutheran College Spring Quadrangular at Washington County Golf Course Thursday afternoon, shooting a +77 to finish third out of the four competing teams.
The event was highlighted by a second-place finish by Carroll Junior
Lauren Lostetter, who shot a +13 on the Par-72 course, which was just one stroke shy of the top score. Lostetter recorded six pars in the round, with three apiece coming on the front and back nines.
Lynea Sekany was second on the team and eighth overall with a +19, while
Maddie O'Brien and
Tessa Lawson finished in 12th and 15th place, respectively, with scores of +22 and +23.
Annika Wertheim rounded out the Pios team score in 20th place.
Carroll will be in action again this weekend, as they'll compete in the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan. That two-day event will begin Saturday at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill.
