FULL RESULTS
KENOSHA, Wis. - Competing at The Club at Strawberry Creek, Carroll's women's golf team finished fifth out of eight teams Monday afternoon. The 5,731-yard par-72 course saw the Pioneers shoot a team score of +86, which was 11 strokes shy of MSOE's fourth-place total. Carthage won the event with a score of +64.
One highlight for the Pioneers was the team's only par-breaker, as
Tessa Lawson birdied hole number nine.
Lynea Sekany led the Pios with a +17, which was seventh among the 44 competitors in the tournament, as she improved three strokes on the back-nine.
Maddie O'Brien was second on the team, and 13th overall, with a +19, while Lawson finished 19th at the event with a +21 after shooting a team-best score of 44 on the front-nine.
Lauren Lostetter and
Annika Wertheim rounded out Carroll's team score with a +29 and +33, respectively.
That wraps up the Pioneers' 2024-25 schedule. They will look to improve upon their sixth-place finish at the CCIW Championships in the Fall.
