FINAL RESULTS
GREEN BAY, Wis. - Carroll's men's and women's cross country teams each finished sixth out of nine competing teams at Saturday's Tom Barry Invitational, hosted by St. Norbert College.
In the men's 6K race, Carroll recorded a team score of 57, which was just four shy of the fifth-place team.
Ethan Weber paced the Pios, finishing in 51st place overall, while earning 24 points for his team, with a time of 20:51.67.
Julian Bica Harrison was the next-fastest Carroll runner, placing 63rd overall with a time of 21:12.61, while
Bailey Olson was 68th overall with a time of 21:35.74. Sam Daley and Luke Adams rounded out the Pioneers' team score, placing 71st and 76th with times of 21:35.74 and 21:42.44, respectively.
On the women's side, Carroll finished their 5K race with a team score of 176, which was 45 shy of the fifth-place team.
Keagan Knue led the Pioneers with a time of 21:18.05, which was good for 48th place overall. Freshman
Hana Smith wasn't far behind, running a time of 21:22.88, which was 50th overall.
Sarah Tinder and
Kyla Laabs finished third and fourth on the team with times of 22:20.33 and 22:24.26, respectively, while Abby Burie rounded out the team score with a time of 22:58.94.
The Pioneers will be off next weekend, before returning to action on September 13 at Concordia-Wisconsin's Ken Weidt Classic. That meet will begin at 11 a.m. in Mequon, Wis.
