WEST CHICAGO, Ill. - Carroll University's women's golf team delivered a steady and unified performance at the Benedictine University Fall Invite on September 10, held at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club in West Chicago, Illinois. Competing against a strong field of 22 teams, the Pioneers placed 11th overall with a team score of +81, showcasing depth and consistency across their lineup.

Tessa Lawson led the scoring group with a +18 round, tying for 43rd in the individual standings. Close behind were Gabby Hauser and Lauren Lostetter, each carding +20 to finish tied for 56th. Emily Brokl added a +22, rounding out the team effort with a tie for 67th. The tight scoring spread among Carroll's top four golfers highlighted the team's cohesion and ability to stay competitive throughout the round.

Grace Knilans competed as an individual and posted Carroll's best score of the day with a +17, earning a tie for 38th. Her performance added a bright note to the Pioneers' overall showing and underscored the program's depth beyond the scoring lineup.

The tournament was won by Aurora University, who finished with a team score of +25.

With a strong foundation and signs of individual growth, the Carroll's women's golf team balanced scoring should help them as they look poised to build momentum as the fall season continues. Their next opportunity comes at the Midwest Region Fall Classic on September 19 and 20, as they go to Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville, WI where they will take part in another deep field event.
