Carroll Women’s Golf Wraps Up Midwest Region Classic

KANSASVILLE, WIS - The Carroll University women's golf team continued its fall campaign at the Midwest Region Classic, held September 19–20 at Brighton Dale Links in Kansasville, Wisconsin. Facing a competitive field of regional programs, the Pioneers delivered a solid team performance across one day of play, with the second day being canceled due to weather.

Carroll finished 25th overall in the team standings out of 39 teams, led by sophomore standout Grace Knilans who shot an 85 with multiple birdies throughout her round. Carroll also received solid rounds from Gabby Houser and Emily Brokl, who fired 88 and 89, respectively. The Pios squad was rounded out with Tessa Lawson shooting a 96 and Lynea Sekany firing a 100.

The Pioneers now turn their attention to the Wisconsin Lutheran Quadrangular on September 25 at Currie Park Golf Course in Wauwatosa. One of their last tune-ups before the CCIW championships, Carroll looks to climb the leaderboard in the final stretch of the fall season.
