Huntley, Ill. – Building on the momentum from their season opener, the Carroll University Pioneer Women's Golf team delivered another solid performance, finishing 4th overall at the Judson University Invitational with a team score of +65.
The tournament, held at Pinecrest GCS in Huntley, saw competitive play across the board, but the Pioneers held their own against a strong field.
Lynea Sekany led the way for Carroll with a score of +11, while Lauren Lostetter and Tessa Lawson were close behind with scores of +13 and +16, respectively.
The 4th-place finish is another positive step forward for a Pioneer squad looking to build momentum early in the fall season. With strong individual performances and a growing team dynamic, Carroll is proving they have the talent to contend in every event they enter.
The Pioneers will look to carry this strong performance into their next outing at the Benedictine Fall Invitational in West Chicago, Ill.
