Ava Butt Captures CCIW's Elite 26 Award

MOLINE, Ill. - Carroll University women's bowling standout Ava Butt has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Elite 26 Award recipient for women's bowling, the conference announced following the CCIW Championship on Saturday.

The Elite 26 Award is presented annually to the student-athlete who demonstrates the highest level of achievement both academically and athletically among competitors in each of the CCIW's 26 sponsored sports. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, in their second season of competition with their program, and competing in the conference's final championship contest.

A junior from Wautoma, Wisconsin, Butt received the award during the championship event, capping another exceptional season for the Pioneers. She has been a consistent leader for Carroll throughout the year, competing at the top of the lineup while helping guide the program through a historic season at the conference and national levels.

In addition to her on-lane success, Butt has distinguished herself academically, exemplifying the balance of excellence the Elite 26 Award is designed to recognize. Her selection reflects sustained performance, leadership, and commitment both in competition and in the classroom.

Butt's Elite 26 honor adds to a growing list of postseason accolades for Carroll women's bowling and underscores the program's continued success in developing well-rounded student-athletes at the conference's highest standard.
