Carroll Women's Bowling Headed to Lansing for NCAA Regional

WAUKESHA, Wis. - The NCAA announced the 19-team field for the 2026 National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship on Wednesday, with Carroll earning a spot in the tournament after their CCIW conference tournament triumph, and advancing to Lansing, Michigan, for postseason play.

The championship bracket was revealed during the NCAA selection show on Wednesday, March 25, on NCAA.com. Eleven conferences received automatic qualification, while the remaining eight teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Women's Bowling Committee.

Carroll will open tournament play in the Opening Round on Thursday, April 2, facing Fayetteville State in a single elimination match. The winner will advance to the Regional Round, held Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4. Should the Pioneers advance past the opening round, they will take on the No. 1 overall seed and top team in the NCAA RPI rankings, Jacksonville State.

The Opening Round features three matchups, including Dominican (N.Y.) vs. Alabama A&M and Saint Vincent vs. Belmont Abbey, along with Carroll's contest against Fayetteville State.

The National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship semifinals are scheduled for Friday, April 10, with the championship match set for Saturday, April 11.

Carroll's selection marks another milestone for the program as it continues its postseason run on the national stage.
