KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The Carroll University women's golf team completed the two-day Midwest Region Classic on Saturday.

The Pioneers opened the tournament with a (+48) in Friday's first round before carding a (+60) on Saturday. Carroll finished 15th in the tournament field.

Scarlett Lindgren led the Pioneers over the two-day event, finishing with a combined score of (+19). Lindgren opened the weekend with Carroll's best round of the tournament, firing a (+5) on Friday before recording a (+14) in the final round.

Tessa Lawson finished three strokes behind Lindgren with a two-day total of (+22). Lawson carded an (+9) in the opening round before finishing the tournament with an (+13).

Emily Brokl finished the weekend at (+34), with rounds of 87 and 91. Lynea Sekany showed improvement in Saturday's final round, cutting three strokes off her opening-round score with an 88 to finish at (+35).

Gabby Hauser rounded out Carroll's lineup with a two-day score of (+37). After opening with a 92, Hauser improved by three strokes in the final round with an 89.

The Pioneers finished the weekend with Lindgren and Lawson occupying the top two spots in the Carroll lineup, while Sekany and Hauser each improved their scores during Saturday's final round.
