Box Score (Wilmington, Ohio) – The Carroll University women's lacrosse team hung tough with Wilmington College through the first half before eventually falling to the Quakers, 13-3 in Ohio.
 
The home team struck first at 29:19 but Donna January equalized for CU six minutes later. Wilmington then netted goals at 14:38 and 13:00 to go up 3-1 before Kailey Leahy made it 3-2 with a Pioneer goal at 5:52. The Quakers found the back of the net twice more before halftime to go into the break leading 5-2.
 
The second half was all Wilmington, as the Quakers scored eight of the half's nine goals. Carroll's lone second half goal was scored by Ariannah Ritter at 9:54.
 
Carroll returns to action on Sunday when they host Adrian (MI) College at noon.
