The men's tennis team opened up their spring schedule, hosting Concordia University (Wis.) and Carleton College at the Moorland Tennis Center.
The Pioneers fell to Concordia 4-5. Peter Jaeger was able to win both of his matches. He first defeated Concordia's James Forster, 6-4 6-4. Jaeger then teamed up with Matt Michael and defeated Concordia's duo of James Forster and Brad Guendel 8-6.
Chayce Roecker for the Pioneers, defeated Concordia's Ceejay Schaffner 6-2 6-1, while fellow Pio Joseph Harrison defeated Chrisitan Docter 6-3 7-6 (9-7).
the second match of the night featured the Pioneers taking on Carleton College, with Carroll losing 1-8. The Pioneers only win in the match, came from Joseph Harrison and Chayce Roecker, who defeated Carleton's Kevin Hurley and Andrew Qi 8-4 in doubles action.
The Pioneers will be back in action on February 18th, as they host Saint Mary's University (Minn.) and Wisconsin Lutheran College at the Moorland Tennis Center at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
