Box Score KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The Carroll University softball team lost to No. 14-ranked University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire 8-4 to complete the fifth day of the Rebel Spring Games at the Osceola Softball Complex on Thursday.
It was the fourth straight nonconference loss of the season for Carroll, which dropped to 3-7 on its spring break trip and 6-8 overall.
UW-Eau Claire, which improved to 5-1 overall, scored seven runs in the top of the first inning and never trailed.
Carroll, which amassed 11 hits, scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth and added a run in the sixth but couldn't get any closer.
