Box Score WAUKESHA, Wis. - Junior attackman Jeff Schultz (Franklin, Wis.) scored two unassisted goals as the Carroll University men's lacrosse team lost to Marian University 18-4 in a nonconference matchup at Schneider Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
It was the season opener for Carroll, which was outscored 11-1 in the first half, including four unanswered goals in the opening quarter.
Senior attackman Paul Kerchberger (Deer Park, Ill.) and freshman midfielder Danny McGee (Rockford, Ill.) each added a goal for Carroll, which was outshot by a 48-27 margin.
Garrett Houlihan contributed a game-high five goals to lead Marian.
