Box Score CLERMONT, Fla. - The Carroll University softball team lost to Gordon College 8-2 in a sunny, warm nonconference showdown to complete its second day of the PFX Spring Games at the Hancock Rec Complex on Sunday afternoon.
The character-building road loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Carroll, which dropped to 3-1 on its Florida spring break trip and 4-3 overall.

Allyssa Demma (Orland Park, Ill.) scored on a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the second inning and freshman left fielder
Katelyn Schneider (Sussex, Wis.) delivered an RBI single to center field in the fourth for Carroll, which collected six hits but stranded 11 baserunners.Â

Senior catcher Megan Jenkerson went 3-for-5 with two triples, a double and four RBIs to lead Gordon, which improved to 2-2 overall.
Sophomore Jasmine Mullally pitched a six-hitter with six strikeouts and five walks to earn a complete-game victory.
