Rob Retzlaff Resigns as Head Men’s Golf Coach

Waukesha, Wis. – Head Men's Golf Coach Rob Retzlaff will be resigning from his position effective at the end of June.
 
Retzlaff has been a part of the Carroll men's and women's golf programs for nine seasons. Retzlaff garnered four Midwest Conference Golf Championships in his tenure, two for the women's program (2011, 2012), and two additional for the men's program (2012, 2016). These four titles gave the Pioneers four NCAA appearances as automatic qualifiers. In the 2011-12 women's golf season, Retzlaff's group ranked as high as No. 16 in the national ranking by Golfstat. Retzlaff was also named the MWC Women's Golf Coach of the Year in 2015.
 
During his career at Carroll, Carroll golfers collected 28 all-conference awards, (17 of which were men, 11 were women). 29 golfers have been named CCIW Academic-All Conference under Retzlaff as well.
 
"Coach Retzlaff has been with the Carroll family for almost a decade" said Director of Athletics Michael Schulist. "He has influenced a lot current and past players, and he leaves with an impressive resume. We wish him the best in his future endeavors."
 
The position for head men's golf coach will conduct a national search in the coming weeks.
