WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Carroll University women's track and field teams split up and sent individuals to the Firebird Finale final qualifier hosted by Carthage, and the Ripon Final Qualifier hosted by the Red Hawks.
 
At Ripon, Mary Quinn broke her pentathlon record for the third time this season and moved into the top 20 nationally. Quinn's record of 3244 was set with PR performances the 800m and long jump. Also at Ripon was Jessica Mueller, who cleared 3.15m in the pole vault.
 
At Carthage, the Pioneer throwers competed to advance their distances. Vanessa Uitenbroek threw 13.98 meters while Maria Falk threw 13.13 meters. Cate Gudaitis had a weight throw toss that went 15.49 meters.
 
The official 2023 NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field Championships participant list will be announced on Sunday, March 5.
