Carroll Receives Five All-Conference Selections

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - After finishing the 2024 season with a 5-5 record, Carroll's football team received five All-Conference selections Tuesday morning, as released by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). Tight End Reed Breckheimer, Offensive Lineman Kevin Whittmon, and Punter Noah Streveler were each named to the CCIW First Team Offense, while Defensive Lineman Riley Stobb and Linebacker Will Campbell each landed on the CCIW's Second Team Defense.

A Junior from Hilbert, Wis., Breckheimer is making his third consecutive All-Conference appearance, after earning Second Team honors in each of the last two years. He was Carroll's jack-of-all trades this season, ranking ninth in the CCIW in receptions (36), 11th in receiving yards (476), and 12th in receiving touchdowns (3), all of which led the Pioneers. He also finished third on the team in rushing with 176 yards on 32 carries (5.5 ypc), while scoring a team-high five touchdowns on the ground. Breckheimer also completed the only pass he threw this season for 18 yards.

Whittmon is making his second consecutive All-Conference appearance, after landing on the Second Team a year ago. The senior from Chicago, Ill. was the anchor of Carroll's offensive line at Left Tackle, paving the way for 139.6 rushing yards per game and 4.1 yards per carry. He also played a key role in the Pioneers finishing tied for third in the league in fewest sacks allowed (10).

This year's All-Conference nod marks the second consecutive First Team selection for Noah Streveler, who has proven to be one of the best punters in NCAA Division-III. The Senior from Stevens Point, Wis. led the CCIW with a punting average of 42.2 yards, which sets a new single season school record, and also ranks eighth in all of D-III. In addition to that, Streveler also led the league in punts inside the 20-yard line (19), more than 50 yards (7), and touchbacks (8). His longest kick of the season traveled 62 yards, which was the third longest punt in the conference this season, just two yards shy of the top distance.

Stobb is making his first-career All-Conference appearance, with an All-CCIW Second Team Defense selection. The Senior from Oshkosh, Wis. recorded a team-high five sacks on the season (four solo), which was tied for fourth in the CCIW. He also finished the year ranking eighth in the league in tackles for loss (8.5), while recording 25 tackles (17 solo) and six quarterback hurries.

Despite missing the final three games of the season due to injury, Campbell is making his second consecutive appearance on the All-CCIW Second Team Defense. Named the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year in 2022, Campbell finished this season leading the league in fumbles recovered (2), and ranking third in both fumbles forced (2) and tackles per game (8.3). The Junior from Kaukauna, Wis. also ranked 19th in the conference in sacks (2.5) and 22nd in tackles for loss (6.0), while recording seven quarterback hurries.

As part of the annual All-Conference team, the CCIW selects one player from each school to represent their institution as the CCIW RESPECT Award recipient. This year's representative for the Pioneers' Football team is Tim Nelson, a Defensive Lineman from Racine, Wis. Nelson started all 10 games for Carroll, recording 24 tackles (2.5 for a loss), to go along with 0.5 sacks and two quarterback hurries.
