The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its annual Academic All-District Football Team Tuesday morning, with the maximum of eight Carroll players receiving the distinguished honor. The Pioneers saw seniors

Tristan Caudill, and
Max Katsenos each earn the distinction. Those players helped the Pioneers defeat a WIAC team for the first time since 1978, defeating UW-Stout on the road in the team's 2024 season opener.
An Exercise Science major, Hancock finished the season with the fifth-most receptions on the team (8). The Tight End from Waterford, Wis. also recorded 91 receiving yards and one touchdown, while averaging 11.4 yards per reception.
Holm is majoring in Exercise Science at Carroll. He recorded 16 tackles on the year as a defensive back for the Pios, including 12 solo. The Green Bay, Wis. native finishes his Carroll career with 38 total tackles.
Lazaris appeared in all 10 games for the Pioneers this season as a defensive lineman. A Physical and Health Education major from Colgate, Wis., Lazaris finished sixth on the team in tackles (32), while adding 5.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.
Mueller started all 10 games as a defensive back for the Pioneers this season, recording 31 tackles, including one for a loss. The Marketing major from Pewaukee, Wis. recorded 31 tackles on the year (25 solo), while also posting one tackle for loss, one interception, one fumble recovery, and a team-high seven pass break ups.
Streveler has established himself as one of the best punters in NCAA Division-III. The Computer Science major from Stevens Point, Wis. led the CCIW this season with a punting average of 42.2 yards, which set a new single season school record, and also ranks eighth in all of D-III. In addition to that, Streveler also led the league in punts inside the 20-yard line (19), more than 50 yards (7), and touchbacks (8). His longest kick of the season traveled 62 yards, which was the third longest punt in the conference, just two yards shy of the top distance.
Despite missing the final three games of the season due to injury, Campbell finished this season leading the league in fumbles recovered (2), and ranking third in both fumbles forced (2) and tackles per game (8.3) from his linebacker position. The Management and Leadership major form Kaukauna, Wis. also ranked 19th in the conference in sacks (2.5) and 22nd in tackles for loss (6.0), while recording seven quarterback hurries.
Caudill caught two passes for six yards as a reserve Tight End this season. The Biology major from Broomfield, Colo. also played on Special Teams for the Pios.
Katsenos was one of the anchors of Carroll's offensive line this season as the team's center. The Exercise Science major from Cary, Ill. played a big role in the Pioneers gaining 139.6 rushing yards per game, while averaging 24.6 points per contest. Carroll also allowed just 10 sacks on the year, which was tied for the third-least in the CCIW this season, just three more than the league leader.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District. Honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on January 28.
