Pios of the Week (10/6-10/12)

This week's "Pios of the Week" for the week ending 10/12 are Keegan Knue of Women's Cross Country for her performance at the Gene Davis Invitational in Appleton, WI on Saturday and Amarrion Bridges of Football for his performance in Saturday's Homecoming game against North Park.

Keegan Knue – Women's Cross Country
Keegan Knue led Carroll University at the Gene Davis Invitational in Appleton, Wis., pacing the Pioneers to a strong third-place team finish. Knue clocked 24:07.0 over the 6K course to place 17th overall in a competitive field of 96 racers, helping Carroll post a combined team time of 2:06:08.20. Her performance anchored a lineup that kept tight splits and demonstrated depth, a key factor in beating several regional rivals. Knue's consistency and leadership continue to set the tone as Carroll builds momentum getting closer to the CCIW Championships.

Amarrion Bridges – Football
Amarrion Bridges played a pivotal role in Carroll's 24-10 Homecoming victory over North Park. The junior defensive back was part of a dominant defensive effort that forced four interceptions and recorded four sacks. Bridges contributed one of those picks, helping stall a North Park drive and maintain Carroll's early lead. He also added 3 pass breakups and 0.5 TFL, showcasing his versatility across the field. His coverage and physical play were instrumental in holding the Vikings to just 10 points and 280 total yards, as Carroll improved to 2-2 in CCIW play.
