COLFAX, Wis. – Carroll University cross country wrapped up its 2025 season at the NCAA Division III North Regional on Saturday, competing against one of the deepest fields in the country at Whitetail Golf Course. The Pioneer women placed 26th out of 30 teams, while the men finished 26th in a 31-team field.
On the women's side, Keagan Knue led Carroll with a time of 25:10.20 to finish 130th overall in the 6K race. Hana Smith followed in 147th at 25:27.40, and Paola Orozco crossed in 160th at 26:06.40. Kyla Laabs (26:39.50), Abby Burie (26:48.80), Sarah Tinder (26:50.80), and Rebecca Barnes (27:21.20) rounded out the lineup as the Pioneers battled through a competitive regional field.
For the men, Ethan Weber paced Carroll in the 8K with a 127th-place finish in 27:46.20. Julian Bica Harrison was close behind at 27:58.00 for 137th, while Sam Daley (28:24.30) and Bailey Olson (28:27.50) finished in the top 160. Donovan Menningen clocked 29:11.30, and Rogan Leistiko closed the scoring at 30:26.20.
Despite challenging conditions and a stacked regional, the Pioneers showed resilience and teamwork to cap their season. Carroll now turns its focus to offseason training and building toward 2026.
