WAUKESHA, Wis. - Carroll University senior tight end
Reed Breckheimer has been selected to the Associated Press (AP) Division III First-Team All-America squad, earning the AP's top national honor at his position and becoming the first AP Division III All-America selection in program history.
Breckheimer (Hilbert, Wis.) appears on the AP's first team as the tight end after a versatile 2025 campaign in which he led the Pioneers' offense in multiple phases. In 10 games, Breckheimer caught 46 passes for 488 yards and one touchdown, rushed 49 times for 308 yards and nine touchdowns, and completed 3 of 4 passes for 38 yards, directly accounting for 60 points this season.
The AP recognition caps a decorated senior year for Breckheimer, who earlier this month was named to the AFCA Division III Coaches' All-America First Team and D3football.com All-Region 5 First Team, in addition to First-Team All-CCIW honors. Carroll's archives include All-Americans from several organizations and eras, but Breckheimer is the first Pioneer to be named Associated Press Division III First-Team All-American, a truly prestigious honor.
