The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its annual Division-III Men's and women's All-Academic Teams this week, with both Carroll's men's and women's tennis teams earning the distinction. In order to earn the honor, a program must have a team Grade Point Average of 3.2 or higher.
As part of the All-Academic Team, the ITA also announced its 2025 ITA Scholar-Athletes, with 12 Carroll players achieving that honor (seven women and five men). Earning that recognition includes Laurel Nelson, Jenna Mohler, Addison Olson, Katherine Trifilio, Makayla Counsell, Sarah Faltis, Rachel Winters, Adrian Gomez, Ryan LaBelle, Tyler Eberle, Andrew LaBelle, and Brandon Possin. In order to be named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a player must hold a Grade Point Average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year.
"I'm always very proud of our tennis teams for all of their academic accomplishments," Head Men's and Women's Coach Craig Mours said. "With tennis being a full year sport, it's a true testament to their dedication, not only on the court, but also in the classroom."
